Use Cloth Diapers

If you have a new addition to the family think about using cloth diapers instead of disposable diapers. Not only will cloth diapers save you a fortune, but they will help to reduce the use of virgin materials and water (yep thats right water). Contrary to popular belief, even though you have to wash cloth diapers, they still use less water than the production of disposable diapers. To make your cloth diaper experience even greener, use baking soda and vinegar instead of detergent when washing them. We do this and the diapers remain fresh and clean and little David is a happier baby.

I have a daughter, she’s not exactly baby, but she’s a little girl, and she has Cerebral Palsy and can’t walk. I’m researching on whether cloth or disposable diapers are more cost efficient, I’ve never used cloth diapers with her yet but I’m thinking of trying it. I’m thinking of using the cloth diapers at home, and the disposable diapers when we’re out, to keep from having to transport used diapers.
