Recycle Everything

I know, I know, this is one of those very obvious green tips, but a recent commenter made a very good point about what people are recycling. Most individuals only recycle beverage containers such as coke cans, glass jars and plastic water bottles. In reality, we as consumers end up buying a huge variety of packaged items which are not isolated to the kitchen cabinets. Most beauty products, hair products, electronics, food products and much more all come in recyclable packages which should be placed in the recycling bin instead of the trash can at the end of their life. Don’t worry about what type of glass or plastic it is, just put it in the recycling bin and let your local recycling facility sort it out.
