Summer is officially here and what a better time to get out in the yard and make a small garden. Not only can you save a tone of money, but you get good organic fruits and vegetables without and salmonella. While your out there, start a little composting pile to make your own soil to plant your plants in. Do some research and find out which plants are best to plant next to one another, one may have natural pesticides and help to protect its neighbors, while another might provide the needed mid day shade for more finicky plants.
