Install a Radiant Barrier

A Radiant barrier is a great way to fight the heat this summer. A one weekend installation can potentially save hundreds of dollars in under a year. By reflecting most of the sun’s heat back away from the home and not emitting the absorbed heat, a radiant barrier will drastically cut down on the work your AC must do to keep your home cool. This added efficiency translates into a lower utility cost and in my opinion, radiant barriers will give you the most energy savings for your money.
