The need for renewable sources of energy is increasing.

I agree and more research should be done and funded in order to address this need.

Nature is a vast source of energy.But they are low graded energy.If we made efficiend energy conversion device then energy crisis will be removed.

The Ocean Produced two types of energy thermal energy from the Sun heat, and mechanical energy
from the tides and waves.

I agree that we need to focus to as called “green energy” and ocean is one of this kind of sources.Because,if we will continue to produce typical energy,we will destroy our planet.

Ocean is major contender of release energy such as thermal and mechanical energy.

there’s talk of building a tidal power station across the river Severn(its the second biggest tidal movement inland in the world—i think)—i hope this happens,but unfortunatly politics have got hold of it, so it seems like another great idea will be sunk by the suit,and tie know it all brigade—-there is so much potential for the world to become self sustaining solar,wind,tidal,thermal,and many more—but unfortunately the powers that be cannot see the wood for the trees(presuming there’s any forests left) they much prefer to blame the poor cow for most of our global warming problems—apparantly it f**ts to much-shame on them—-so therefore global warming is the fault of the vegetarian,if they were to eat meat it would decrease the cow population,and therfore save the planet————hows that for a bit of spin—-its got my vote———bluddy vegetarians shoot the lot of them me thinks.

we need to investigate to find out good methods in using Ocean energy. I think tide can be good options to make energies. Someday we may see that besides Sun energy.
