As a result of global warming, there is a great threat to winter sport industry. With snow level decreasing for each year, skiing lovers like me may miss this wonderful sport in the coming decade…

In time it will be a problem - plenty of resorts have already experienced unusually low levels of snowfall over the last few years especially.

I don’t think it will destroy winter sports for some time yet, though slopes which rely on snowfall may become unusable for skiing sooner rather than later.

I think we will need to go higher and higher to ski , 50 years from now everest may be the worlds last ski resort

Winters have gotten shorter in our area.  This summer we had a drought situation if we don’t have alot of snow this winter the water tables will be to low next year.

The ski resorts around here have definitely seen a decrease in snow, especially last year.  This winter is almost going the exact same way as the last. 

The winters have also gotten shorter, as we used to see snow in early October..now we don’t really see anything worth commenting on until late November, early December.

Really sad about this news but I think technology can handle this problem. I’ve heard about snow machines that creates artificial snow. I think some of indoor snow resorts are using them, seen it on the news.
