When I was younger and living in a big city, my sister and I used to take a folding shopping cart to the store. The cart was wire and held quite a lot of groceries. I keep thinking I should get another one for here and walk to the store when the weather is nice. It’s only about a km away, so a good round-trip walk.

I live outside of Washington, DC.  A car is needed to go alot of places you want to go because public transportation is so bad but on the other hand walking often will get you where you need to go faster.  I use a wire cart to shop for groceries and other large or heavy items when I go out.  I’m thinking of getting a bike alot of people use bikes or scooters in this area.  You can get about 90 miles to a gallon witha scooter.  I don’t know whow environmently friendly it is, I would think if it uses less gas there would less emmission problem.

Better planning for our trips would also reduce the amount of trips we need to take.  I walk to shop and often realize I forgot something and rather than go back out I will do without or use something else.

I love to ride my bike in any weather. The weather cant stop me from moving any where on my bike.I specially enjoy bike riding in rainy days.I think one should always do what he likes then when you enjoy riding then why to stop unnecessary journeys.
