it was a nice movie! i liked it very much!
But i do not think many people will realize its mesage. It is a bit subliminal. I couldn’s imagine it will end that way. smile

I liked that movie very much. I actually cryied when I thought that not only penguins are in danger but a lot of animals too. I read somewhere that every day a lot of species of animals and especially plants dissapear, that is very sad.

I haven’t seen Happy Feet. I realize that it’s animated, but I enjoy a lot of animated shows, like Shrek and Ice Age. The humour in some of these shows appeals to adults as well.

Laurent1, have you seen Ice Age? It has a touching part where the mammoth recalls how his family was wiped out.

I watched the movie with my friends. They loved it but I got really bored! I wasn’t funny like Ice Age or Chicken Little.

The movie wasn’t bad. It just focused too much on animation - I’m sure kids loved it.

As much as I love penguins, you would think that I had seen the movie, but no I haven’t. I hope to see it sometime in the near future, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I have, however, heard that it offers a great message to the world. I’m terribly excited.

I thought that the movie was great. It was cute, and an excellent movie for children. My daughter really liked it, and I thought that the message wasn’t pushed too heavily,  but was still there.

Re: Happy Feet

I did see the movie, and while it did have some good and direct global consciousness messages, it also had the scenes of Orca whales “playing” with their next meal… it was pretty intense and turned me off of the movie very much.

I thought it was pretty awesome. There aren’t many animated movies that have come out lately that were any good. This changed that statement!

It reminds me of an old animated film called Fern Gully. That was all about saving the rainforest and stopping pollution. I remember that movie used to scare me as a kid.

I just recently rented it from Netflix for my daughter.  I thought it was really cute.  My daughter really, really enjoyed it.
