Do bigger cars and trucks pollute more than others? I know they use more gas but do they pollute more?

yeah they do. You see people all the time picketing to try and get these cars off the road. They are always preaching about saving the planet. I think you will see more and more technology on better fuel efficient cars in the future.

They do, but some people need to drive bigger vehicles. Most women, however, really have no need for those huge SUV’s. (sorry to anyone who may be offended, but it’s true)

The larger cars do use more gas and emit more pollution but I do agree that some people regardless of their gender need to drive larger vehicles.  I like to work on large plants, antiques and need a car that can handle the load not necessarily a SUV like a Hummer whats up with that?  I think the people that drive those types of vehicle should pay an additional tax for using more than their fair share of the natural resouces.

Yes they do cause more pollution.  I have also noticed around here that the bigger vehicles seem to be the cause of more accidents.

I have noticed also that the larger car drivers are more aggresive on the road.  In my area you take your life in your hands if you try to walk across a busy street, the drivers don’t stop for the red light or the crosswalk.

Bigger vehicles cause more pollution, but they can be useful as well.  Take public buses for instance, that prevent their passengers from causing even more pollution.  What’s better, a bus full of people or a large number of small cars?

they do, the point of bigger vehicles was to carry bigger loads that small vehicles couldn’t handle, but it became trendy and the SUV was born. In some cases they use twice the energy of a small to carry a load that a small car is perfectly capable of carrying.

They do because they produce more emission because it has to because they are so big.  And it also uses more energy/gas all together.

I am also agree with all, bigger vehicles do more pollution because they travel more and use more for transportation. As well as not properly maintained.

Bigger vehicles are responsible for added air pollution in the Environment and must be controlled.
