What do you think about the car washes that you pay like $10 and then drive through? Do you think that they waste a lot of water?

I’m a bit lazy, so I don’t wash my car myself sometimes. I’ll get it washed on my way home from work. Do you think that I am conserving water this way, or wasting it?

Not only do they hurt us. All of the chemicals used in these cleaning solutions are going down the drain.

If the car wash could recycle some of the water it uses washing just one car it would be good way to save water.  When the weather is good everyone is at the car wash, I don’t think many people think about how much water is being wasted they think about how much it cost to get the car wash.

I am sure they use a lot of water.  I try to wash my car at home and use as little of water as possible.

Car washes are known to waste a lot of water unfortunately, even if they are convenient!  I end up using them a majority of the time, but I’m trying to cut back.  There’s no reason why you can’t get the same job done in your driveway with a hose of a bucket of water, and you wouldn’t lose money either!  :D Well, the ten dollars anyways.

I think those drive thru carwashes use way too much water for one car. I suggest you avoid using them as much as possible! You can schedule your carwashing days instead if you’re really concerned about your water use. I don’t think laziness is enough of a reason to consume more than what you need of our limited resources!
