We’ve talked here about what is going on around us, and what we can personally do to reduce the impact of carbon emissions and other wasteful lifestyles. But we haven’t discussed the big question.

What do you think is going to happen when the poop hits the environmental fan?

Are we facing a “Day After Tomorrow” scenario, or a greenhouse-what do you think we are facing if we don’t stop it now?

I think we’re on the swing toward hot and dry, although we’re pretty much overdue for an ice age. I think the world swings to each extreme over time and that we’re not responsible for the swing, but I believe we are certainly contributing to giving it a good hard push and accelerating that move. And I don’t think we’ll live to see the final result—maybe our great-great grandchildren. Maybe we’ll clue in.  rolleyes

I think we are in for hot and dry also. Like said in the bible. Every year it is getting hotter and hotter…

Re: Where Are We Headed?

I beleive as many others do, that Nature may force us into submission. Either that, or we will be living in shelters from our stupidity and neglect of our resources and the state of the earth today!

You know, I also believe that it will be really hot and dry just going by how the weather has warmed up lately.  I think that it is terrible that the government isn’t focusing more on this issue.

I hope it’s not as extreme as what has been mentioned above, but who knows.  I just hope that things go by gradually, giving the human race time to adapt with less lives lost.

Well we humans should be the stewards of earth in the first place. Our damn ancestors just cared less and didn’t give a damn about it. On the other hand, we, who cares are obviously outnumbered as well. Nature is getting weaker and weaker every time. We just have to accept that ugly fact.

Electric cars could be the solution for this problem. Car makers should invest more on research about this electric cars as this would be the future of cars in few years time. Making a lot of this will surely make the electric car market competitive.
