"Help The Planet, Save Money & Brag About It"

So many of us go somewhere on holiday, but how many of us have interesting things nearby that the tourists come to see and which we don’t bother with? We could save a lot on travel by keeping ourselves more local, and putting our money into our local economies as well.

Now that the price of gas has gone up alot of people are looking into staying closer to home to see what they can get into.  I think some people are surprised to see that they have alot of interesting things in their area that they thought was just for tourist.

We stayed closed to home this summer because of the price of gas and had alot of fun.

Staying closer to home during the holidays could help to reduce tha about of carbon emissions in the larger cities.  I’m sure more people are thinking of staying home more with the increased price of gas.

This holiday we will be staying home.  We usually go to my mom’s about 90 minutes away.  The cost of gas forced us to decide Thanksgiving or Christmas we choose Christmas to travel.
