New Lawnmower!

My old, gas-powered lawnmower died last year and I didn’t have the money for a new one and my yard ended up with tall grass. Anyway, on Friday I had to stop at WalMart for something and I looked at new lawnmowers. Today, I bought one—a brand new, rotary mower. You remember them—no gas, no electric, just the rotary blades and that cool sound they make when you push them along. My daughter loves it and we took turns today attacking the yard. I’ll find something to keep the blades sharp, but I love it so much more than the noisy gas mower, and with gas prices the way they are, who can afford it? So that’s my recommendation, folks. Bring back the rotary mower!! Good exercise and good for the environment, too.

And just think of the exercise you will be getting! This is a wonderful thing!

I wish that we had a rotary, but right now I can’t afford to replace our gas powered one.

I had to replace mine, since it had completely died. The one I got (maybe ‘reel’ is better than ‘rotary’ but you know what I mean) was only $100 which meant it was way cheaper than a new gas mower. Now if it would stop raining…

Re: New Lawnmower!

Not only are these great for exercise and the environment, but they’re maintenance free, and they are so very cheap to use… the cost savings is huge!

I want one, but $100 is a lot (to me).

I bet they didn’t cost that much back when they were the only choice. This is another example of how people are trying to make a profit from people wanting to help the environment.  :x

The rotary blade lawnmowers are a good source of excerise.  I use one becuase of the noise the gas mowers make and I am afraid of getting cut up with the blades in the gas mowers.
